We enjoyed our stay very much, definitely missing the view since returning to Bristol! The house is beautifully decorated and we fell in love with the open fire. The house is in a truly spectacular location wih water all around and a beautiful short walk to all amenities. We managed to cook a roast dinner on the range and I am definitely sold on having one. It was so nice to come home after walking, wet through, to sit in front of it and warm up with a cup of tea! It was definitely the perfect base for our Scottish adventure! Thank you ever so much for letting us stay in such a truly magnificent place.

Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your beautiful, memorable, unique family home. Besides the spectacular views it affords, it also enables those who stay here to really live - and therefore appreciate - the Highland way of life. We loved looking, not just at the art outside the window, but inside too, as well as your lovely books including an old Mrs. Beaton. We had a fantastic time visiting Urquhart Castle, Skye, Inverness, the Rare Breed Park, the Falls of Foyers and the Clansman Centre.

I loved how your house has an excellent sighting of Loch Ness. I also had a picture of something strange in the Loch!

We had very nice holidays. The wonderful house with lovely views. We took the steam train at Aviemore. We climbed Ben Nevis, saw the cliffs on Skye, went for many walks and visited Inverness. We enjoyed a lot of autumn landscapes in Scotland, especially the colours of the trees.

We spent a very nice week in the Highlands. One reason for this special week was the beautiful house in which we lived. We loved the log fire and the details of decorations, also the silence around.

Very many thanks for letting us use your house. It's the most wonderful place. The views are fantastic changing all the time, no need to go anywhere but we did. Yes! We did Ben Nevis - eight hours up and down, misty all the way up, clearing for great views as we left the top (very cold). Did lots of walks, mainly on our own. Crossed Harry Potter's bridge on the Jacobite steam train.

Very special place; we got the feeling that no pictures are needed in this house as each window view is a piece of art. The warm welcome, the basket of typical Scottish goodies and the views. How convenient and easy it is to reach any place in Scotland from here... There are so many things that we are sure we'll be back soon! By the way, the garden and particularly the detail of decorating the house with fresh flowers from it, conquered our hearts from day one. Thanks a lot.

Great surroundings. Mix of sunshine and rain. Fantastic house. We never saw a monster, but we had a really fantastic holiday in Scotland. See you maybe next year.

Inveroich House is warm and welcoming. Both the house and garden have a lovely calm, warm feel which helped us relax and enjoy our holiday. The setting is amazing, being surrounded by water on three sides and overlooking the loch. Walking in the local area back toward Invergarry/Skye is great, with lots of challenging routes and, even though we visited in mid August we saw no one else on any of our treks. We did however see herds of Red Deer up in the hills which was a spectacular sight. We drove over to Skye for the day which is a lovely drive and Skye itself is beautiful. We went to Elgol on the western side to take in the sea views and walks.

This was my first trip to the British Isles and I enjoyed it very much thanks to this wonderful and picturesque house - I wonder if anything can ever top it... I loved the electric blanket (on "4") and the good old stove. Your house made me feel like a noble for a week, this house is so big yet comfortable - it's in the details/small things. Thank you, I'd love to come back here one day. In the meantime I'll recommend it to friends and family. the best wishes to you and your family - Miriam
This is also my first trip to Scotland. Usually, I don't like mountains but these ones are round (a bit feminine) and fascinating. There are a lot of 'heap of stones' (ruins), waterfalls, forests, lochs, sheep and rhododendron. It's a pity that there are so few Highland cows because they are so cute. Your house is amazing and ancient, it felt like visiting another time (200 years ago). I love the dining room and upstairs bed. Thanks a lot - Elisa

Enjoyed our holiday very much. The house is situated on the best spot in Fort Augustus. An ideal base for touring Loch Ness and surrounding areas. In the week we've been here we've managed to visit Inverness, Nairn, Portree, Plockton, Fort William and did numerous beautiful walks. Sarah tried wake boarding and was a natural! (Loch Oich) Finished the week with a gondola ride at Ben Nevis. Will miss the house, gardens and scenery very much and the beautiful village of Fort Augustus. Many Thanks

Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful house. We enjoyed our stay very much and have had a wonderful, relaxing holiday. We must agree with your previous guest who says that this must be the best spot in Fort Augustus. The situation is perfect being between the river, the loch and the canal is most unique. We found so much to see and do locally that apart from two occasions during the week we abandoned the car altogether. When we didi venture out by car we found some lovely and interesting spots to visit. We hope to return soon and will recommend friends and family - Many Thanks.

Dear Peter, Amanda and family. Thank you for a memorable holiday, in a wonderful house at a stunning location. Wishing you all the best. Kindest regards. Linda and Andrew Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful family home. We have had a fantastic week; enjoying numerous walks around the area, fishing for trout and an interesting round of golf trying to avoid hitting the sheep (however most of them were grouped around the greens so were safe from my shots!). Good food and atmosphere at the Inn on the Lock. Really enjoyed the views of the loch in the mornings. Many Thanks.

Thanks very much for a lovely week - the house was the perfect base for exploring the area and we think Fort Augustus is beautiful. We couldn't have dreamed up better views from every window - lovely. Thank you Peter and Amanda,

Thank you for a wonderful holiday. The house is stunning and views are perfect. The open fire made up for all the rainy days we couldn't go out in. Can't wait to come back! Thanks again.

As said with every entry thank you so much for making this house available for so many people to enjoy. There could not be a more inspiring location for a holiday house. We were blessed with exceptional weather and took full advantage of it, exploring the many glens and lochs in the vicinity. We took care of the MOT by leaving the car in a garage in Fort William while we took the Jacobite steam train up to Mallaig and back. If you plan a similar trip make sure that you take a seat on the left-hand side of the train. We both fell in love with The Highlands and wonder why we had not found them earlier in our lives. We will definitely be back! With kindest regards.
